What do you think?

Hello!!! Wow, what a tiring class, right? Lots of vocabulary and listenings!!!
Next class it will be more fun, ok?! Don´t worry!! : D

What does Fergal Keane mean when he says:
"So much that seemed essential to me has, in the past few days, taken on a different colour."

How will his relationship differ from the one with his own father?
What lessons about life does Fergal Keane want his son to learn from his letter?
Which parts of the letter do you think particularly moved the listeners on the BBC?
What lessons have you learned from your upbringing that you would lke to pass on to your children? What don´t you want to repeat?

  2. Hi teacher! Finally I’m here!
Congratulations for your blog! I hope it will be great to improve our English…
So, let’s to comment this topic.
As I understood, Fergal Kane will have a better fatherhood than his father. His son’s born veered his life in a good way.
He wants his son enjoys the moments with the ones he will love. Fergal Kane may regret the things were left unspoken with his father.
I believe this part of the letter moved the listeners on the BBC, in spite of all letter to be so emotional.
And, about the lessons I ‘ve learned form my upbringing it was “not to trust in everyone”. Teens trend to do this, and It was very utile to me at that time.
